History HD heads to Romania

The History HD channel has continued its roll out in central Europe by launching in Romania on UPC’s cable platform.

The Romanian-language service will launch on UPC on October 1, joining the standard definition  service which launched in February. History HD will offer a separate schedule from the standard definition service. The channel offers series including The Universe, Modern Marvels, Ice Road Truckers, and Ancient Discoveries. 

History HD currently operate throughout central Europe in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Montenegro.  ax
