BBC announces Prime move date

The BBC’s has announced the date that its ‘best-of’ channel BBC Prime will be rebranded BBC Entertainment across Europe and the Middle East.

The newly branded channel, which is operated by the BBC’s commercial arm BBC Worldwide, launches November 11. It is being rebranded along with other BBC Prime offerings in other parts of the world.

Worldwide said there will be a new line-up of programs to coincide with the channel launch. Titles include Waterloo Road, Lead Balloon and The Omid Djalili Show. The channel will carry blocks of kids, factual and lifestyle programming in off-peak hours.
