Sci Fi Channel to launch in Balkans

NBC Universal Global Networks is set to launch the Sci Fi Channel in the Balkans for the first time after striking a carriage deal.

The international channel arm of the Hollywood studio has inked a deal with digital pay-TV platform SBB to launch the channel in Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia and Montenegro. The channel will air series including Legend of the Seeker, Flash Gordon and reality show Destination Truth as well as a raft of blockbuster movies.
