ADB wins Neovision and Altibox contracts

Set-top provider ADB has been chosen by Polish pay-TV operator ITI Neovision to provide its next generation of hybrid set-top boxes.

ADB will supply its 5720SX hybrid box to ITI Neovision’s ‘n’ DTH platform. The boxes will enable ‘n’to offer additional services to its subscribers, including a broader range of channels in HD, VOD and interactive gaming.

ADB has also been selected by Norwegian service provider Altibox to provide HD DVR boxes for its IPTV service. ADB will supply its 2810W set-top and 5812WX DVR to Altibox, which is the service offering provided by Norwegian energy company Lyse via partner companies over its fibre-optic network. The service currently has about 145,000 customers.
