Turkish Radio-Television takes stake in Euronews

Turkish broadcaster Turkish Radio-Television (TRT) has taken a 15.7% stake in pan-European news channel Euronews.

TRT is the fourth main shareholder in Euronews, after France Televisions, Rai and RTR. The Turkish-language channel is expected to reach 17 million households via various distribution platforms.
