TV Puls gets ok to become general entertainment



Polish free-to-air broadcaster TV Puls has reportedly been given the green light to change its programming line-up and become a general entertainment channel.

The broadcaster, which was part-owned by News Corp. until last year, has got the OK from media regulator the KRRiT to reduce the amount of time it dedicates to news, current affairs and religious programming. TV Puls management has been talking to potential investors for several months, with domestic and international parties said to be interested, but a deal has yet to be announced.
