Tele Columbus upgrades Potsdam

German cable operator Tele Columbus has upgraded its network in Potsdam to offer triple-play services. The upgrade will make broadband, telephony and digital TV services available to about 50,000 homes. The operator said it had upgraded about 20,000 households to digital services so far.

Potsdam is also one of the sites in which Tele Columbus is piloting fibre-to-the-building services, offering 100Mbps internet access.
