TVN names Tellenbach as president and CEO

Polish broadcaster TVN Group has named Markus Tellenbach as president and CEO.

The former SBS CEO’s appointment is part of a management restructure at the broadcaster, involving the creation of a new four-strong management board comprising Tellenbach, Piotr Walter, group vice-president and head of television broadcasting, Luasz Wejchert, group vice-president and head of online and Rafal Wyszomierski, group management board member and incoming interim chief financial officer.

Walter will also act as deputy CEO, while Tellenbach will serve as temporary CEO of pay-TV arm ITI Neovision, responsible for developing the ‘n’ platform, in which TVN holds a 51% stake.
