Ericsson signs Georgian IPTV contract

Ericsson’s Croatian affiliate Ericsson Nikola Tesla has signed a contract to supply IPTV equipment to Georgian mobile operator Magticom.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s end-to-end IPTV solution will consist of Ericsson middleware, a Tandberg Television headend with initial capacity of 74 TV channels, VOD services, a satellite antenna subsystem and set-top boxes, as well as professional services including learning solutions, project management, system integration services and support service packages.
