Orange and TF1 in VOD trial

Content from the TF1 Vision video-on-demand service will be available on Orange’s IPTV service between now and the end of the year.

French broadcaster TF1 and telco and IPTV operator Orange have inked the content deal, which also allows for third party programming acquired by TF1 to become available on Orange’s 24/24 VOD service. US series Fringe, Grey’s Anatomy and Ugly Betty are among the titles on offer.

Locally-originated programmes include shows from comedians Gad Elmaleh and Nicolas Canteloup and programming from TF1-backed factual channel Ushuaia. Some shows will be offered on-demand before they appear on the linear TF1 channel.
