BT secures Sony movies on-demand

BT Vision, the UK telco’s IPTV service, has signed a deal with Sony Pictures Television for video-on-demand rights to a range of new and catalogue movie titles.

The deal will bring new titles including Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, Angels & Demons and The International to BT Vision viewers, as well as recent movies including Seven Pounds and Rachel Getting Married. All moves will be available on a pay-per-view basis.
