E-vision launches HDTV in UAE

Pay-TV operator E-vision, a division of telco Etisalat, has launched a high definition TV service in the UAE.


From launch, the service will include Luxe HD, Fashion TV HD, Showtime HD, Abu Dhabi TV HD and Al Jazeera Sports HD.


E-vision’s HD service will be available to customers who buy a new HD DVR, which costs AED999 (€195), and pay a monthly fee of AED30.
